It defeated seventh-ranked Molalla 3-2 at home Oct. 2, then
gave up four goals in the first half of a 6-0 blowout loss to sixth-ranked Gladstone
on the road two days later.

The Canby boys soccer team continued making progress in league play last week, defeating Oregon City 3-0 at home Oct. 9.
It was the first shutout victory of the season for the Cougars (3-6-2, 3-3-1 in the Three Rivers League), who have earned a win or tie in four of their last five games after dropping their first two conference matches.
