Junior guard Bailey Raines scored 14 points Dec. 7 to lead the Canby girls basketball team in its home opener, but a late turnover by the Cougars proved costly in a 44-43 loss to Wilsonville.
Kendall Tate stole the ball, and the Wilsonville girls basketball team stole the show. Trailing Canby the entire game, the Wildcats snatched the lead in the final seconds and made off with a thrilling 44-43 win over the Cougars on the road Dec.
