Kids will walk the budget talk

Many more Canby children will be walking and biking to school this year, due to budget cuts to the number of school bus routes

With more children walking to school, the city of Canby erected more school crossing signs with flashing lights to alert drivers.
In response to diminishing funds in the Canby School District budget, the district cut between 10 and 13 school bus routes, which means, starting the first day of school Sept.
