A pair of programs from ‘national treasure’ Eva Castellanoz in November offer the opportunity to expand cultural understanding

Canby Public Library will present master artist and teacher Eva Castellanoz on Tuesday Nov. 1 in two events.

Honored by President Ronald Reagan as "a national treasure" when he awarded her an NEA National Heritage Fellowship in 1987, Eva Castellanoz is celebrated as a folk artist, teacher, community activist and curandera (traditional healer).
