Canby puts game away at halftime in victory over Wildcats on Friday night

Senior Noah Abel led Canby in the running game with 11 carries for 71 yards and a touchdown in Friday's victory over Westview at Cougar Stadium in the first round of the Class 6A state playoffs.
From the opening kick-off, Canby did not give Westview any sign of hope of pulling off an upset. The Cougars played one of their best first halves of the season, doing it every which way – offensively, defensively and special teams – en route to a 36-14 victory over the Wildcats on Friday night at Cougar Stadium in the first round of the Class 6A state playoffs.
