Will Greenleaf, Ackerman Middle School technology teacher, is one district staff member that is being reassigned to an area that surprised him. He's not alone as layoffs and reassignments have staff wondering what's going on.
They call it Black Friday and the day — April 29 — will be remembered by Canby teachers, staff and students for years to come, and not only because that is the day 43 people in the Canby School District lost their jobs due to the current district budget crisis.
