Aurora begins mayoral search

City council hopes to name new mayor at the Sept. 13 meeting

The city of Aurora is seeking a successor to Mayor James Meirow. Meirow announced Aug. 9 that he was resigning, effective with the election of a new mayor at council’s regular Sept.
