Canby Vietnam Era Veterans Memorial Dedication is Saturday

After 11 years of work and fundraising, a dedication ceremony will mark the completion of the memorial park on Highway 99E in Canby

The Vietnam Era Veterans Memorial committee will hold a memorial dedication ceremony at Canby High School Saturday, Aug. 6, at 10 a.m. to celebrate the installation of the statue “A Hero’s Prayer” and the completion of the memorial.
Passion, pride and perseverance will collide in a celebration of a job finished at last. The final touches to the Vietnam Era Veterans Memorial will be completed, leaving nothing left to do but hold Saturday’s memorial dedication ceremony at 10 a.
