Canby High School graduate Luke Sommer earned a promotion from Double A Tennessee to Triple A Iowa within the Chicago Cubs organization on Tuesday. He is joining the team in Omaha for a five-game series beginning Wednesday.
Luke Sommer is on the move once again.The 2004 Canby High School graduate earned his second promotion this season, moving from Class AA Tennessee up to Class AAA Iowa within the Chicago Cubs organization.
