Canby High School graduate Luke Sommer is 1-0 with a 2.03 ERA in 23 appearances for the Class AA Tennessee Smokes of the Southern League.
Three years ago, Luke Sommer sat quietly in front of his parents’ home in Canby wondering if he was going to take the next big step in his life.
