Canby leads early but can't hold on against last year's state runner-up

Canby High School junior McCall Morgan scored her team's lone run in the Cougars' 5-1 loss to last year's Class 6A state-runner up Sunset on Tuesday at home.
It was a chance to prove itself against one of the state’s best. The Canby softball team had hoped to garner the respect as a legitimate threat come state-playoff time entering this season.
