Lillian M. Bigbee

Former Canby resident Lillian Mae Bigbee died March 8, 2001, in Milwaukie. She was 90. She was born March 3, 1911, in Jeffers, Minn. She married John Bigbee in 1932, and they moved to Tacoma, Wash., in 1943, then to Portland in 1947. The lived in the Canby area for many years.

She had worked in the shipyards during World War II.

She is survived by a son, Larry, of Milwaukie; sisters, Mavis Matson of Fairmont, Minn., Vi Cazett of Lamberton, Minn., and Idell Biber of Tacoma, Wash.; a brother, Curly Roemer of Puallap, Wash.; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Karen Graves. Funeral services were held Monday, March 12, at Green Crest Memorial Park in Sheridan.

Adamson's Sheridan Funeral Home was in care of arrangements.

Sarahi Franco Godoy

Noemi Godoy-Mata and Modesto Franco Maciel of Hubbard are the parents of a daughter, Sarahi Franco Godoy, born Feb. 17, 2001, at Silverton Hospital.

She weighed 8 pounds, 4 1/2 ounces and measured 21 inches at her 2:40 p.m. birth.

Bailey Moore

Bailey Marie Moore was born Dec. 29, 2000, at Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City to Cindy and Dennis Moore Jr., of Canby. She joins a sister, Amanda, 6.

She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 19 1/2 inches at her 12:54 a.m. birth.

Grandparents are Cathy and Eddie Summers of Covina, Calif., and Nancy and Dennis Moore of Canby.

Great-grandmothers are Marie Burnett of Couer d'Alene, Idaho and Dorothy Rhodes of Oregon City.

Samantha St. Clair

A daughter, Samantha Dawn, was born Feb. 21, 2001, at Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City to Teresa and Michael St. Clair of Canby.

She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches at her 4:48 a.m. birth. She is the couple's first child.

Grandparents include Pat Miller of Canby, and Stephen and Joy St. Clair of Beaverton.

Great-grandmother is Jane St. Clair of Cannon Beach.
