Sen. Jackie Dingfelder (D-Portland), chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Environment and National Resources, talks with Sen. Mark Hass (D-Beaverton), who is also a member of that committee, during a session of the Senate last week. The committee is where Senate Bill 262 is being held and Dingfelder's office said they do not expect the controversial bill to receive a hearing.
