There’s little doubt that they are sitting on tables, between sofa cushions or hanging lifelessly from a refrigerator magnet right this minute.
Don’t let them die there.
By now just about everyone who is eligible to vote in the May 20 primary should have their mail-in ballot in their possession — it’s just what’s being done with them at this point that’s a little worrisome.
Voting isn’t an entitlement, it’s right given to you through the sacrifice of men and women in the last 200-plus years.
If you have received your ballot, but haven’t done anything with it, we urge you to set aside some time this week to take it out of that little cubby hole you placed it in, open it up and fulfill this unique opportunity. Then, make sure it gets delivered to the the elections office.
Take some time to go over the issues and candidates and make the best decision you can because you worked at it a little.
There are plenty of people world wide who would like to freely do what so many registered voters don’t — fill out a ballot.
Don’t take this opportunity for granted. Vote!
