In this week's sports section of the Canby Herald, we'll preview the 52nd annual Canby Rodeo.
It's finally here, and has the potential to be one of the best with the list of names expected to show up throughout the week.
All nine defending PRCA world champions will be on hand to compete sometime this week.
One of the big questions will be whether or not the bull riders can stay on the bull this year after just four survived and earned a score last summer. The top score last year was by Colby Reilly, who earned an 84.
It's another exciting time in Canby. Tickets for the rodeo are $8 for the reserved grandstand area, and $6 for general admission to seats around the arena grounds. Fair admission is also needed to get into the rodeo.
And coming up soon, we'll have the fall sports preview issue to preview the upcoming fall season at Canby High School and North Marion High School.
